- Account details you provide, including your email address, password credentials, handle, display name, biography, and avatar URL. Passwords are stored as hashes.
- Product and launch content, website links, publication dates, and changes you make to your listings.
- Voting activity associated with your account, including the launch and time of a vote.

Why we use it
We use this information to create and secure accounts, publish your work, operate voting, respond to requests, and maintain the service. We also use relevant records to investigate abuse, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information to provide the service you request, pursue legitimate interests in operating and protecting it, meet legal obligations, or act with your consent where required.
Public pages and private activity
Your public profile, product pages, and published launches can be viewed without an account and accessed through public APIs. Search engines and other services may index or copy them. Avoid including information you do not want to make public.
Your login email and password are not displayed publicly. Individual voting choices are private; launch totals are shown according to the voting period, with early results available to the product owner.
Cookies and browser storage
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and browser storage to remember your appearance preference. You can clear these through your browser settings; doing so may sign you out or reset your preference.
Providers and disclosures
Service providers that host, store, or help maintain LaunchSquare process information needed for those services. We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable safeguards.
Information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we use safeguards for international transfers under applicable data protection law. External product websites have their own privacy practices.
Retention and your choices
We retain information as needed to operate your account and the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect against abuse. Deletion requests may be subject to these obligations, and copies may remain temporarily in backups or independently on third-party services.
You can edit your profile and product information in your account. Contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your personal information. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a data protection authority. We may need to verify your identity before handling a request.
Children and policy changes
LaunchSquare is not intended for children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can address it.
We will update this page when our practices change and provide additional notice where required. The date above identifies the current version.
